My name is Rashid Qadri and I am the president of AMBIANZ INC. We are a web development and IT services company. We are currently renting an office unit at 6511 D Mississauga Road. We started renting this location back in September of 2008 and it is one of the properties of Transglobe Property Management. Unfortunately our experience in dealing with Transglobe Property Management Commercial Division was very bad from the beginning. First they delayed the construction of our unit about 20 days and still charged us the rent of September 2008.After we moved in we noticed the prominent and disturbing NOISE & VIBRATION of the HVAC unit which is located adjacent to our office. Maintenance and property managers have personally observed the magnitude of the sound. The heavy vibration and sound disrupts telephone calls, it shakes the ceiling projector and vibrates the crockery in the kitchen so much it almost causes damage. All this has been a constant headache for myself, my staff and my clients. We reported this issue to the management back in October of 2008 but no action was taken to solve it. Instead of fixing the problem, they have prolonged the apparent "repair" and are constantly feeding us false information and hopes that it will be resolved soon. In November of 2008 when the Air-Conditioners were shut off, obviously the noise issue was not much of a concern therefore we patiently waited that hopefully in the Spring of 2009 Transglobe Commercial Maintenance Team would take some action.In February of 2009 one day when we came to our offices, they were all full of water and we found out that last night the water from the rain came through a leak in the ceiling and messed up our office. We reported this to tenantfacilities@transglobe.com but unfortunately only a temporary fix was conducted. They started giving us false hopes once again that they will do a proper fix soon. This soon never came and back in April of 2009 we saw another blast of water leakage from the same spot and it has messed up our office, along with another on the date of December the 9th 2009.Unfortunately, the Air-conditioning was turned on in the Spring of 2009 and the vibration and noise problems arose once again. We reported and reported but a solution was never provided by Transglobe Property Management Commercial Maintenance Department. I even met with their commercial team members Ken Shelley, Janine Dobson in their office at 5925 Airport Road, Suite 700 Mississauga, ON L4V 1W1 but unfortunately they didn't take any serious notice. Needless to say that our creative business requires absolute quietness in the work place; because of this reason we have asked them that we will irrespectively move from this location as a priority if they don’t fix all the maintenance related problems. Instead of a cooperative response they have threatened us that if we move, Transglobe Property Management will sue us for all the damages of breaking the commercial lease.To this date the A/C is shut off because of winter and now we are just preparing ourselves for more headaches in the spring of 2010, as I still have 26 months of lease remaining with Transglobe and 26 months of headache.With your very useful blog/forum I wanted to post this story in detail so that if a new business is about to deal with Transglobe Management Services they should be well informed with who they are about to deal with and if they don't put proper clauses in the lease agreement chances are they will be blackmailed and threatened during the entire time of their lease agreement.I have also read their web site bio's and read the story of Mr. Leonard Drimmer and Mr. Daniel Drimmer about how hardworking and inspiring gentlemen they are but I am sure that complaints like this from small size business partners like us does not reach their desk and they have not the slightest clue how some of their team members are screwing the reputation of this organization.In an effort to inform them also I have finally wrote a detailed fax to them today and let's see if they do something about these constant problems we are facing.This story has been provided in good faith and if someone wants to see a documentary proof of all our correspondences you are highly welcome, just call us at 905-566-0606 and we'll gladly show you every piece of evidence.
